Coracle Challenge 2010

Les Stephan Planning Ltd have, for the first time ever, particpated in the Coracle Challenge 2010.

It was an interesting experience; with the practice session involving Penny being rescued by the River Rescue(!) and Ross (our volunteer PostGrad) taking her place for the main event.

Despite the weather being a little more dismal than the rest of the week, a great time was had by all and we have managed to raise £792.50 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Unfortunately we didn't manage to make it trhough to the second heat but we were grouped with both the RAF and Navy!

May I send our sincere appreciation for your support!

Proposed Supermaket, Oswestry

J. T. Hughes & Guttercrest are joint owners of the land on Victoria Road, Oswestry. The site is currently under consideration by Shropshire Council for the erection of a supermarket; this was considered at the Planning Committee of the 18th March 2010 and all proposals were deferred for a 3-month period.

We are in the process of down-sizing our proposed scheme in response to residents and Councillors concerns that were brought to light at this meeting. An extract from the Shropshire Star article can be found here:
